Our Story

When we opened our first restaurant in Victoria Island in 2010, Chinese food was often seen as out of reach — too expensive or too formal for daily life. We believed it didn’t have to be that way. Our mission was simple: to bring the bold, comforting flavours of Chinese cuisine into the everyday moments people cherish.
 

This belief has guided us ever since. From one restaurant, we’ve grown to five outlets across Lagos, serving thousands of customers who now enjoy Chinese food not as a rare indulgence, but as a natural part of their daily rhythm.

We make this possible by staying true to our promise: sourcing only the freshest ingredients and preparing wholesome meals that deliver authentic taste without breaking the bank. Our signature spice mixes, blended in-house, give every dish that unmistakable Yin Yang Express flavour — bold, balanced, and full of life.

Today, we continue to celebrate the simple joy of food that’s fast, delicious, and always within reach. Because we believe Chinese food shouldn’t just be for special occasions. It should be for every day — the quick lunch between meetings, the shared dinner with family, a catch-up meal with a friend, the midnight craving, or the comfort meal after a long day.
